And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini

The novel depicts the life of two siblings: Pari and Abdullah. They are both children of farmers and are not wealthy. The novel is about the separation between the two siblings and how as they grow older their lives become linked. I really enjoyed this novel as it talked about the living standards of Afghanistan during the 1960’s and the struggles people had to make. It was a warming and heartfelt novel, and I would recommend it to everyone.
