Blood brothers - by Willy Russell

Blood Brothers by Willy Russell

This book is a script to a musical about two boys who were separated. This book follows the boys from birth to adulthood. They lead completely different lives but this doesn’t stop them from being friends. I really enjoyed this book. I found it very powerful and inspirational. I would recommend this book to anyone in the school as it is easy to read, not too long and the story is really good.

Elizabeth and Sinead, 2nd Year

I thought this book was really good. It is written in a play form. IT’s about two brothers separated at birth. There are a lot of emotions in this book. I would really recommend it if you want a short, funny and sad book.

Ella, 2nd Year

I found Blood Brothers very enjoyable. As you listen to some of it on tape and get to know the characters really well through the songs.

Emma, 2nd Year

I really enjoyed the book because it was different to any other one I’ve read before. The story was so unique and the character’s lives were so interesting.
