I really liked this book because it’s written in the point of view of Krystyna, who witnessed the holocaust. This brought a sense of realism and gave me an insight to her feelings. It also thoroughly explains the change of characters as they go through certain things. I admired this as it shows you how the characters react in a crisis and how they feel. It was very moving since I was really interested in World War 2. A vey memorable read.
